Now in its 7th year Make Music New York is “the largest music event ever to grace Gotham” (Metro New York). It is a unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City on the first day of summer. From 10am to 10pm MMNY celebrates music simultaneously in more than 514 cities around the world.

Sarah Jane Cion is a jazz pianist from NY. She's performed with young and older jazz legends such as Clark Terry, Etta Jones, Anita O'Day, Della Griffin and many others. Currently she performs with New York City mainstay big bands such as the Lew Anderson Big Band at Birdland as well as bestselling author and tenorman James McBride.
